"Carrie provides a comfortable and safe environment to learn. Carrie is a great teacher revealing information and awareness at appropriate times as you progress through the course. Her kind and compassionate nature, along with timely support, makes discoveries throughout the course easier and more manageable. I have come away from the course with management techniques and options to give myself kindness and compassion each and everyday. I would recommend this course to anyone who is dealing with emotional or physical pain, who wants to look to their pain and find ways of reducing it"

"The mindfulness for health course I recently completed is probably one of the most useful  and life changing courses I have ever done. Carrie expertly guided us through a range of skills and activities that not only made me look at life through fresh eyes appreciating the present moment and the joy of simple pleasures but also has given me a sense of calmness and contentment that has helped me meet the challenges that life throws up with courage and inner strength. Just prior to the course I was diagnosed with breast cancer and throughout my treatment people have commented on how well I have dealt with the anxiety, inevitable stress and pain. Mindfulness gave me down to earth methods which can easily be practised which helped me cope. These practices have become a part of my daily routine (they don't take long, just a few minutes!) I feel happier, more content and able to accept and deal with any challenge large or small."

The reason I decided to attend Carrie's Mindfulness for Health course was to help me adapt my hectic life and have time for myself. The course reinforced  the value I need  to put on my life using mindfulness and meditation to reflect on this. I was, and still can be an anxious person, always trying to please others. However, through mindfulness I now realise that I can't please everyone or expect everyone to like me. I now reflect on this and turn any issue around, it is theirs to resolve not mine. Work  commitments can be stressful but by using mindfulness, for even just a short period of time at work helps me to relax, take  stock and start again.

"Thanks for an informative, friendly and fun course. Your enthusiasm and interesting delivery helped to broaden my understanding of mindfulness. The breath techniques and movement exercises just confirmed that there can be other ways to deal with stress and back pain, rather than taking another pill. My 3 year old grand-daughter will be thrilled to know that granny has joined her club - to opt out of the 'past' and 'future' and to live and enjoy life to the full in the 'present' ."

I was apprehensive about joining this course - particularly as I hadn't heard of mindfulness before. I needn't have worried...everyone was so welcoming and Carrie did a really good job explaining everything. I can now control my stressing the meditation and breathing techniques and I no longer feel guilty when I take time out for me. Thank you, Carrie for giving me something so useful, which I didn't realise I needed.
